An event on “Culture, Tourism & Trade: India’s North Eastern Region” was organised in Bishkek today by the Embassy in partnership with Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University (KRSU).

2. H.E. Mr Vladimir Ivanovich Nifadyev, Rector KRSU and Ambassador H.E. Mr. Alok A. Dimri jointly commenced the proceedings by the lighting of traditional Indian lamp.

3. Cultural expositions by Indian students were presented on the occasion, followed by inauguration of a photo exhibition that showcases North Eastern India’s rich-traditions in art, culture, architecture, handicrafts, festivals, and tourism besides natural landscapes.

4. A webinar was organised on the occasion with participation from Ministries of Tourism, tourism agencies & youth from both sides, to promote culture, trade and tourism exchanges between two peoples.
